Hello & thanks for stopping by! My name is Nihal Pai and I'm a multidisciplinary UI/UX designer,

software engineer, and musician. I grew up in Singapore and am currently a rising senior at Tufts

University majoring in Computer Science (although I spend a lot of my time pursuing non-CS

activities).

​

Ever since I took an Industrial Design seminar in Sophomore Year, I've had a strong appreciation for 

solving complex human-centred problems with a creative edge. Over time, this appreciation has

evolved into a deep passion that has led me to seek out a multitude of wonderful learning

opportunities - mainly through an internship at leading eco-tech firm Smart Energy Water, LLC. These opportunities have given me experiences across various facets of the design process from UX auditing, use case analysis & flow-diagramming to wireframing, prototyping, & graphic design. Outside of coding & designing, I often find myself recording music, performing with my band, or sailing. Due to my varied interests, I'm always on the lookout for experiences that will enable me to

learn & grow at the intersection of different industries.

The Past Few Months:

• Returned from a Computer Science study abroad programme at the Aquincum Institute of Technology in Budapest

• Completed a SWE internship at a Bay Area  health-tech company, where I built a dashboard that processed, analysed, & visualised raw biometric sensor data for a wearable that monitors kids' health

• Got *really* busy with recruiting, Senior Year, and design projects

Right Now:

• School closed down, classes got moved to virtual platforms, and I had to return home to Singapore due to COVID-concerns

• In light of economic uncertainty, a lot of companies I was in final stages with have been unable to move forward with offers and I am actively seeking full-time employment in the US - please reach out if you have any opportunities available!
